Controlled publishing

WordPress publishing

Publyra connects editorial preparation to WordPress while preserving human approval. Nothing is sent until you select a destination and confirm the action.

How it works

From connection to publication

  1. 01

Connect WordPress using an application password or WordPress.com/Jetpack OAuth.

  2. 02

    Generate or open the article.

  3. 03

Review its title, content, metadata and images.

  4. 04

Choose a site and confirm publication.

Two WordPress connection methods

Self-hosted WordPress sites can use application passwords. WordPress.com or Jetpack-connected sites can use OAuth.

Credentials and tokens are encrypted before storage using the appropriate client-side or server-side mechanism.

A connected article record

Publyra sends supported content and metadata, then associates the remote URL with the local article.

That association makes it possible to connect the article with Search Console performance.

Refresh an existing WordPress article

The library loads each connected site’s published posts directly, including articles written before you signed up. Any WordPress article, whether created in Publyra or not, can become the starting point for a new draft.

Choose a fresh generation based on the title alone, or an update that uses the existing content as its reference. When updating, you decide separately whether current images are kept as they are or replaced with new illustrations.

After review, choose the destination: update the same WordPress post or create a new publication. An update only goes out after your explicit confirmation and keeps the original post ID and slug.

Explicit approval

Generation and publishing remain separate. You can edit and retain a result without sending it to WordPress.

Availability

Available on plans that include CMS publishing; the connected-site limit depends on the plan.

Important limits

  • CMS publishing is unavailable on the Free plan.
  • Compatibility depends on the WordPress REST API and site configuration.
  • Plugin-specific fields can require additional support.
  • A regeneration follows the normal generation flow and consumes an article from your quota.

FAQ

Questions about WordPress publishing

Can Publyra publish without my approval?

No. You select the site and explicitly confirm every publication.

Does it work with WordPress.com?

Yes, for compatible WordPress.com or Jetpack sites through OAuth.

Can I connect several sites?

Yes on plans whose CMS limit allows multiple sites.

Can I refresh an older WordPress article?

Yes. Connected sites’ posts load directly, including those written before you signed up. Generate a fresh version or an update based on the existing content, then choose between updating the same post or creating a new one.
