BYOK AI provider keys
BYOK lets you use your own compatible AI provider account. Publyra encrypts the key in the browser before storage and only uses it for the requested generation.
Protection by design
Keys are encrypted in the browser before they are stored. The browser decrypts the selected credential only for an authorized request sent over TLS.
Keys are never displayed again in full and must not be included in logs.
Cost and availability remain visible
Provider pricing, quotas and outages remain governed by that provider. BYOK is useful when you already manage those accounts or want direct cost control.
Availability
BYOK is available on designated plans; inclusive plans require no provider key.
Important limits
- • Provider API usage is billed separately in BYOK mode.
- • A valid, funded provider account may be required.
- • Provider model availability can change independently of Publyra.
